I’d love to see these awards flourish, and a wider variety of blogs and authors be nominated.

I’m appreciative, but I know that there’s a lot of good stuff that’s been written over the past year by many folks who weren’t considered for recognition for their efforts.

Personally, it’s led me to wonder if I should be doing some more linking out to stuff I run across and like. I’ve been more actively stumbling and sphinning those when I read them.

Thank you for founding the Semmys.

I’m going to be thinking of some ideas and suggestions for you over the next few weeks. I suspect that you will hear some from other folks. I’d love to see more thoughts on the subject from folks who read here, too.
