Good to know we have our own official award ceremony. It must mean that SEO is a "real" job now. :)

Thanks Paul and Terry,

I'd love to see these awards flourish, and a wider variety of blogs and authors be nominated.

I'm appreciative, but I know that there's a lot of good stuff that's been written over the past year by many folks who weren't considered for recognition for their efforts.

Personally, it's led me to wonder if I should be doing some more linking out to stuff I run across and like. I've been more actively stumbling and sphinning those when I read them.

Every industry needs a technical guru. Is that a category? If it were, you would never have any competition.

Good luck with your nominations.

Thank you Mike and Christina,

It was a nice surprise to see the nominations for the Semmy awards and the SEJ awards.

I learn a lot about SEO whenever I visit your blog.

The real reward is reading something like that Christina. Thanks!

Congratulations, Bill. I learn a lot about SEO whenever I visit your blog. Glad to see that you are getting the recognition you deserve for the many thousands of hours you must spend researching and cranking out your quality posts.

You're welcome, Matt.

Thank you for founding the Semmys.

I'm going to be thinking of some ideas and suggestions for you over the next few weeks. I suspect that you will hear some from other folks. I'd love to see more thoughts on the subject from folks who read here, too.
