A new presentation from Google, featuring author David Brin, and Professor and artist Sheldon Brown, was held on October 17th, 2006.
Third Millenium Problem- Solving Can Visualization and Collaboration Tools Make a Difference?
Introduced by Dr. Larry Brilliant, this presentation is from the .org side of Google and looks at new ways of solving problems in the future.
The presentation is also part of the “Authors at Google” series that the company holds, which has included speakers such as John Battelle on The Search, Daniel H. Wilson on How to Survive a Robot Uprising, and Seth Godin on All Marketers are liars.
I don’t just get it
I’ve wondered about some of the choices of speakers at Google. The presentation was interesting, but probably not helpful if you are trying to learn about search.
I would recommend the “How to Survive a Robot Uprising” video. Very interesting stuff, indeed…
Hi Floyd,
Thanks for the suggestion. I’m assuming you mean the Google Talk presentation by “How to Survive a Robot Uprising” by Daniel Wilson.
